    Botanic Gardens Conservation International, (BGCI) with the support of The Maple Society and the Maple Society Open Science Initiative, presents The Red List of Acer: revised and extended, published 22 Spetember 2020. This most important of maple conservation documents gives the conservation status of 158 maple species. The report reveals that one if five of Acer species are at high risk of extinction in the near future. Find our full treatment of this story at the first of the links below.
