Identification: The mushroom fruit body

    This is the mushroom fruit body. but what kind of mushroom?

    Here in the USA we call them Puffballs.

    I don't know the mushrooms of your region, but some puffball genera are Lycoperdon, Bovista, Calvatia. If you have a regional field guide, take note of whether it was growing on dirt or wood, any surface characteristics (though these look pretty smooth), size and shape.
