I came home and saw that the cat had gnawed coffee in half. What can be done to help. Maybe put a tire and wrap it with tape at the place of the snack? Or just try to plant the gnawed part back? Now the upper part is in the water. The plant was already 25-30 cm. Gnawed exactly in half.
Can you reply with photos of both halves? Attach photos and files I probably would be inclined to even off the top of the rooted part and see if it will send out new shoots. And also in a new pot plant the upper part (remove the bottom leaves, put those nodes in the soil). But I have no relevant experience with a coffee tree. Do something to isolate the pots from the cat  :)
Coffee plants can be propagated from cutting: HS1056/HS306: Coffee Growing in the Florida Home Landscape. The trees which I cut back were older than yours but they grew back so I expect yours will as well: Appreciation: - Coffee Tree Rejuvenation. Cut the stem just above a node on the rooted portion and just below on the cutting before planting.
Hi guys, Thanks for the advice. I am already trying to plant the top part of the plant. Made a mini greenhouse. I'll try to get the plant to take root.
