Hello UBC gang, I am a novice gardener from Quadra Island. 4 years ago I started gardening my 1/2 acre property . Although I have invested a fortune in plants and soil amendments I do not have the skills to be able to recognize and treat problems when they arise. I joined your forum for selfish reasons, those being, picking your brains and becoming a better gardener at which point I hope I too will be able to help others on this site. If that is ok with you I shall start asking about things that our garden centers here have not been able to help me with. Thank you for the forum. FancyNancy

Hello Fancynancy, You may be surprised at what you can offer as well. Often people who have recently discovered something can be most helpful in introducing it to others.
