I took this picture about a month ago. A week after taking it, I could not even remember or determine which tree it came from to show my wife. So I'll just have to wait till next year to know. But until then, I'd be nice to at least know the name of it. I may even be able to determine which tree it is from if I at least know it's name where I then could do a bit more research. Thanks.
Possibly Prunus caroliniana. Common name Carolina cherry laurel. See... http://images.google.com/imgres?img...n-gb:IE-SearchBox&rlz=1I7SUNA_en-GB&sa=N&um=1
That definitely looks like what I have and it does grow in Florida. I think I know which tree it is now and it is a good thing because I was planning on cutting it down because it is growing up against the fence. Now I'll just wait for it to start dropping seeds which I'll spread out along the fence line my wife wishes to naturalize. Thank you so very much.
