Found these along a path in the community farming garden. Most likely planted by somebody. There are two varieties of flowers, white and pink.
Looks like Linum sinuatum. Limonium sinuatum, - Google Search Quote wiki...."Limonium sinuatum, commonly known as wavyleaf sea lavender, statice, sea lavender, notch leaf marsh rosemary, sea pink,[1][2] is a Mediterranean plant species in the family Plumbaginaceae known for its papery flowers that can be used in dried arrangements."
Typical wikipedia accumulated junk - I'd bet most of those names are dredged up out of very old out-of-copyright works and haven't been used in 80 years. Wikipedia at its worst.
Only 5 common names. Very restrained in my reckoning. Personally I have never known it as anything other than statice. My father grew it when I was a child and we used to dry the flowers. However I checked wiki as in USA /Canada I felt it might be different. Cannot win with common names! Which is why I always use full latin name first in all my answers.
