I just put my mulch down 2 weeks ago (from Wal-mart). I moved some mulch around today to put down some fertilizer around palm trees. I found a bunch of termites by one palm. My pest control guy told me to put malathion 50% spray on the mulch with a garden sprayer until it was soaked. I put it real real heavy in fact it was white coming out of the sprayer. Can someone tell me the chances of it killing a 5ft palm??? Thanks

Hopefully you mixed it at some sort of label rate. For optimum control you must mix it properly. It will turn milky when its mixed. I know nothing about palms. Normally soil drenching is fine around most plants and trees. Light drenching and watering in may be less toxic. I hope Daniel didn't fall outa his chair reading this post.
