Tecoma-Stans (yellow Elder)

    Can someone tell me how to root cuttings of the Tecoma-Stans plant.
    Would this be done in water or soil? My daughter is giving me a cutting and I am not sure how to root it.

    Semi matured, minimum pencil-thick branches easily root. A sandy soil mixture with good aeration & kept just moist, makes them root very easily.
