I have a 20 year old tangerine tree, while I was out, the ground crew here came to repair the sprinker system and they cut several large roots What are the chances for my tree to survive? And, is there anything I can do to help the tree?
The roots should heal & regrow, but you do want to keep an eye on the sprinker system. If it keeps the roots saturated it can cause root rot.
