In The Garden: Tall Purple Plant Identification

    Can anyone help with the identification of the attached plant, it is in a container with a palm but we have no idea where it has come from, it looks a little like a delphinium?
    Any information on this would be appreciated.

    As an aside, the "palm" isn't a palm, it is probably a Cordyline.

    Silver surfer- Thanks for the qucik response and spot on id.
    Michael F- You could be correct about the Cordyline, we bought them from Majorca on holiday as seeds and they were labeled as palms but anything is possible!
