This plant is growing in Aruba. I don't think it is a native plant of Aruba. Does anyone know what this plant is? Thank you, Frank
Hi Barb, I think your eyes are just fine:-) Yes, it looks like Sansevieria cylindrica. Wow, thank you so much Barb. Now I can go read up on it. Take care, Frank
franko, I was totally unaware of the cylindrica variety until an post in "New Posts" just a day or two ago. I have the old fashioned flat leafed one, but will be looking for the cylindrica. I like to grow things that no one else is growing. barb
Hi Barb, "I like to grow things that no one else is growing" Me too. Not many outside gardens in N.W. Indiana (U.S) have banana trees growing in them:-) It takes some work to get them through the winter though. The Sansevieria cylindrica, to me, is a stiking plant. I haven't seen them in any shops around here. I'll have to keep my eyes open too. Plants are such fun.
Ah, there's Sansevieria cylindrica and he bought it at Home Depot! Geez I have a reserved parking spot at Home Depot because I'm there so often:-) I'll have to look a little closer in the plant section. Thanks togata57!
