I have no idea what this thing is. We had some real little ones show up in a outside flower pot. Then one sprout right in the middle of my back yard lawn. so I cut the grass around it...I didn't think the thing was gonna stop growing. It's over 8' and has a base stock of about 1.5 inches in diameter. The flower is wild! It's flowering like a hemp.

It'd be a little tough at this stage. Next year when the (seedlings)
stalks are a foot or so tall it would be much better.

    Foliage and tender stem tips.
Other forms are used as a grain.
