I took these pictures in a yard that is within Deer Lake Park. They grow in several places around the yard and in a field across the road which is near the shore of the lake. I've also seen them along Lougheed Hwy near Kensington, around Burnaby Lake and Still Creek. I've seen them with white and purple flowers, not sure if they start out one colour then change or not. The ones I took pictures of today have purple flowers. The second picture also shows an Indian Plum and Beaked Hazelnut. Thanks for your help.
Looks like Dame's Rocket (Hesperis matronalis). Considered an invasive in many areas. The color of the flowers can range from white to purple.
