Would someone who is growing this plant comment on its culture and habit?

I have read about it in The Jade Garden and would like to acquire a plant. Could anyone suggest a US source?

    Many thanks.

Not listed by either of two major print edition plant sourcebooks I have here. What does The Jade Garden say about its cultivation history in North America?

Both do list one source each for the typical species, but not 'Superba'.

Excellent, thanks Scross. The book states that the cultivar is selected for "the size of its pendulous flowers, though that may just represent part of a spectrum of natural variability" pg159

Thanks for taking a look around Ron B.

I see that Arrowhead offers another S. sweginzowii.

Hmmm, haven't been on their website since the Spring. I like the new online ordering. But I am sure my wife won't feel the same way.
