Syneilesis Aconitifolia - shredded umbrella plant

    An interesting zone 5a perennial that prefers full to part shade. The leaves of this plant will grow to 18 - 24" but in June or July it will send up a 36" tall flower stalk full of pinkish-white florets.

    I had nothing to do with this, Margot. Daniel made the selection and did the posting. I just think it's useful to add links to the BPotD postings so people looking at the forum (or flickr) photos will know there is this source of more info. Also, the photographers themselves are sometimes unaware that their photo has been written up. Since I think it's important, and no-one else puts the links in, I assigned that task to myself.
