I am asking for help identifying an edible fruit nut from Israel - Jericho.

Sycamore is allegedly a palm tree fruit, about 0,5x1 inch big, dark redish to brown colour. It does not have a shell.

A friend of mine brought some from Israel, they were delicious and I can't find out anything about it.

    Please help!
