I have several day lilies in an area that does get enough light for them. Every year they produce a few flowers each and then languish. If SWMBO allows, I will replace them with something more suitable. But I hate to compost plants that someone else may want. This will probably not occur until 2023 but I ask in advance if anyone has any advice about what to do with them.

Many garden clubs have yearly plant sales. Why not contact some in Vancouver?

I take Groucho Marx's approach to clubs but I may follow your suggestion.
