sunflowers

we have found growing in our yard , a sunflower with 13 (yes you are seeing correct,)

flowering heads. since we have never seen one like this before, how common is it ?

Very common here in Ecuador. It depends on the cultivar, I think.

 

thank you for the sunflower info ..it came in a bag of bird seed...small world!
