I live in Quesnel BC, zone 3-4. I have quite a steep hill in the back of my yard, i am in teh process of building a retaineing wall so this year I am trying to kill as many weed as possible this year and hope to plant groundcover next year. The slope is facing south east and gets sun from morning to evening. I would like to plant someting that requires little care as it is a difficult slope to work on. What would be good plant for such a slope

The slope is 40 feet and sand and gravel in one end and clay in the other.
