Summer flower, small white/pinkish bell flowers

    Hello,

    Trying to identify this summer wildflower (location: northern NJ), small white/pinkish bell flowers with stalks in them, oblong leaves.

    Silene, and Silene csereii (Balkan catchfly) seems like a good match.

    Great, thanks very much. Do you think it could be Bladder Campion as well?

    Catchfly & bladder campion are both common names used generally for Silene. I opted to use the one that the USDA PLANTS database gives, but Balkan bladder campion works as well.
