I am wanting to plant on a south facing slope that is innundated with morning glory mostly.I have pulled the morning glory as best as I could, and am looking to plant a groundcover which would be successful in this situation. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

I'm partial to Lithidora diffusa, planted on about 3 foot spacings. A more boring suggestion (often done, maybe more economical if the area is large) would be Arctostaphylis uva-ursi AKA Kinnikinnick.

Be aware you'll probably be dealing with morning glory for a while yet, look for it to grow through/amongst whatever groundcover you install. Eventually you'll triumph.

I agree whole heartedly! There are several shades of blues. I have seen them planted, grouped in irregular shapes and they are stunning.

hypericum to me rates along with vinca minor and ivy. So I would tend to say no.

Cotoneaster lowfast? It has the advantage nice flowers and berries and glossy leaves which look great all year round, but avoid it if you are allergic to bees.
