I'm looking for suggestions for a late-bearing cherry tree...ideally an August fruiter.

Would be planted on the Sunshine Coast.

Any information would be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks!

Balatonâ„¢ (tart, self-fertile), 'Sweetheart' (self-fertile), 'Hudson' -- see this website.

Balatonâ„¢ is a later tart cherry variety, ripening early July in Michigan, and it also has good sugar content, fresh eating appeal. 'Hudson' is one of the latest ripening cherries, perhaps in August depending on your climate. It would need a pollenizer tree, 'Gold' being one possibility.
