    Hi,

I am new to this website and also new to gardening. We have just built
a new house in the upstate of SC in Georgia red clay. Yuk!
We want to landscape around the house and are looking for suggestions /
    recommendations / landscaping plans, etc.

Also, we have an adjoining piece of property that is well established
with grass, trees, shrubs, plants, etc., and need info on maintaining,
    caring for, pruning, etc.

Also, please tell me how to read the replys / answers to the posts.

    Thank you,

    Dee

    Hi Dee,

Congratulations on your new home! Since this has been posted as having been received as an e-mail, I don't know how to tell you to read responses. If you'd like to register, you will receive e-mail notifications of responses. When you register it would be most helpful to state your hardiness zone.

I'm in the US and I don't know know where you are located. There are two states here, one being Georgia and the other being South Carolina (SC). Are you in the country of Georgia or possibly in Canada? If you are in the US, here's a zip code zone finder.

Once I know your hardiness zone and state or country, I can better make recommendations or lead you to helpful sites. If possible, please respond here on the forum so I receive an e-mail notification.

    Newt
