I'm looking for a vine to grow in a mostly shady area with some morning sun. It would be growing on a trellis up the side of our house, so I need to find something that won't damage the stucco on our house. Maybe an annual vine, or a vine that dies back every fall. Anything like that exist? Thanks for any help you give.

    Hi

Try a mix ( early /mid /late blooming) Clamatis. Should fill in nicely with color throughout the season, and they are generally friendly with stucco. But watch them around or near vinyl siding
as they have a habit of going into the drain holes and re-appearing.

    Best of luck Doug

May I suggest a visit to the "Photography and Art" Forum at this site. I've been enjoying the sights of many great looking gardens. Pay particular attention to the USID - "Durgan", for his enthusiasm!!!
