Hello: I know you focus on the Pacific NW, but since you say you welcome people from outside the area (and this is a West Coast question), I thought I might give this a shot. I saw this succulent in California, on Santa Cruz Island in the Channel Islands National Park in mid-July 2013. Diameter for one of the "whorls" was around 3 inches. Its flowers had died back and only the vegetation was left. I am thinking it belongs to genus Dudleya, possibly D. verity or D. candelabrum, but am not sure. Any ideas you have would be appreciated, but if it is outside your knowledge area, I completely understand. Thank you.
