Hi, I was hoping that someone could help me i.d. a succulent (pic attached).I purchased this succulent at a garden centre in Toronto, and have seen them in a few gardens around the city, but have thus far been unable to arrive at a positive i.d. The plant is approx. 1 foot in height, and about 1 foot in diameter. Thank you for your assistance! Lydia

Thank you both for the suggestions! Neither seems quite right, however. For example, the leaves on this succulent are very large - approximately hand-sized. I have also noticed that other specimens of the plant have turned reddish around the edge of the leaves following extreme heat (and perhaps water deprivation?).
There are many varieties of stonecrop: leaves exhibit a range of color between these, and can do so on the same plant at different times during the year. Leaves also vary in size. I have one sp. with tiny leaves, and two with large ones. Good luck with the ID.
