As part of Woodland Park Zoo's new penguin exhibit the water coming from the animal area will be filtered through a constructed wetlands. We will be using several native wetland plants to do the work but I want to take the opportunity to add a few eye-catching interesting plants. Does anyone have experience growing Darlingtonia in a subsurface flow situation? Granted it is not strictly native but is close enough for or purposes. Hints, suggestions, tricks and alternatives are all welcome.
