Here's my humble submission: "Cucurbitaceae Blossom, Black-White-Green-Gold"

It's a macro photo (with a 4-diopter macro lens) of the blossom of a melon plant.

I was planting two types of melons - the honey melon and the cantaloupe melon. I am not sure, if the blossom belongs to the honey or cantaloupe melon, since the plant wasn't bearing any fruits yet. It grows indoors.

My 2nd submission is the fascinating inner of the blossom. I used two 4-diopter lenses but a lower zoom factor. Also, I made two photos - one focusing on the inner area, the other photo focusing on the blossom leafs. I made a photo composite, and removed the blurred areas of each photo and replaced them with the sharp areas of each other photo. The result is a macro photo showing sharply the inner area and sharply, too, the outer area.

    Any comments..? :-)
