Streets of Melbourne

    From as distance, the flower is of a tall pyramidal tree; flowers terminal, strap-like petals. Any help appreciated.

    Is the photo deceiving? It looks like one flower with a lot of petals (or maybe each one of those things is a flower), whereas the Hamamelis/Trichocladus structure is a dense head of several flowers, with each flower having four petals.

    Wendy - just got closer with different lens; attached taken with high winds, but clear enough. Each "petal" is a flower.
