    Hi,

I want to plant some strawberry in my back yard and I was wondering if anyone know where I can buy the seeds or plants.

    Thanks

It's rather late to be planting for this year, but any garden centre is likely to have a few plants in pots left. They will also probably have seeds, but those would be for next year.

only place i know that sells strawberry seeds is a flower shop on the west wing of Granville island (by the food court). The seeds are for alpine strawberry variety. You need to winterize (put in fridge) the seeds for 4-6 weeks before germinating them, so no matter how you look at it you are too late for any fruit this year. However you may still have time to help the plants establish this year so they will give you fruit next year.

    Cheers,
    Vili
