I know we had a frost a week or two back and the plants were not covered so maybe its frost damage however I am not sure if it is just that or perhaps another disease, what I would like to know is what to do, should I cut all the flowers off? some of the insides of the flowers just have brown spots on them, they are not completely brown or black. thanks kindly,

    Welcome to the forum.
I am not sure what it is, but to be on the safe side I would remove and safely dispose all flowers that don't look normal.

hello - i am curious about this condition - I have never gardened up in PG (tho am familiar with coast and Okanagan) - I found this info sheet from Alberta - I wonder if it is frost damage

have you seen any evidence of insects?

    do the leaves look normal?

I assume these plants are near other garden veggie type plants - do they look normal?

here is the info from AB - scroll down on the page - and it talks about frost damage to the flowers
