Strange succulent

    I found a strange succulent in a garden in Benoni South Africa. Never seen it before and it was over 6 ft high. What is this? It is the "curly " one at the front of the pic thanks

    Cannot be sure. Possibly Myrtillocactus geometrizans forma cristata. Common name Dinosaur Back Plant.

    Yes indeed that is it!
    I hadnt seen it before in South Africa let alone a speciman of such an enormous size.
