Identification: Strange Spotted Plants? ID please!

    Southeastern Pennsylvania
    At home, I have these two spotted plants that I've been using for a science project. Each is about 8 1/2 inches tall now. They're both a medium green, and they have bright yellow spots on them. The spots are not unhealthy-looking..

    Normally I would take a picture of them and post it, but my camera access is limited at the moment.
