Our Pumpkins look like Zucchini on steroids, the flesh is pale with seeds in the middle similar to Zucchini. We saved the seeds from our crop last year but these are not Pumpkins. last years crop was planted next to Butternut could there have been some kind of cross pollination ?
Yes, you have a hybrid. If you want to collect seed, you need to have at least 50' between varieties.
