Euphorbia lathyris. An invasive weed. Warning: the white sap is toxic, can cause skin burns - only handle with gloves.

Looks like Euphorbia lathyris to me...or perhaps a similar species.

    Ciao

A fairly frequent garden escape. Native to the Mediterranean area.

This odd plant must really get around. I've got one growing in my back yard in northeastern Georgia, USA. The reason I logged on to this web site was to try to identify it. Thanks.

They are actually sold at garden centers, ostensibly to repel digging rodents... or so the hype goes, no idea if it holds any truth.

If rodents are affected by the sap in the same way as people, they'd not want to dig in soil with its roots in!
