Strange plant with berries on leaf

    I found this plant growing around a Saskatoon bush while I was hiking. The berries appear to be surrounded by a leaf. Does anyone know what it is called?

    Among few natives in Saskatchewan, this is most probably limber honeysuckle, Lonicera dioica.
