Hello, I do not have a photo at the moment ... however, a very strange-looking plant has appeared in a flower bed at my home (No. Little Rock, Arkansas). No one I have asked seems to have a clue as to its identity.

It grows in the ground to about a foot high or less. Has a very strange leaf, almost like an oak leaf. The top leaves have a bright orange spot on them. This plant strangely just appeared in the flower bed on the north side of my house, and that is the only place they have appeared. They are very odd-looking and very intriguing.

I am not sure if they are a weed, some type of ground cover or ivy? As previously mentioned, the leaves are somewhat similar to some type of oak leaf.

    Can anyone help?

Posting a picture will help us to ID the plant.

    Mystery solved! ...

For anyone who cares, I was able to solve the mystery of the strange plant in my yard in Arkansas ...

It is a wild poinsettia - Euphorbia cyathophora - quite exotic and beautiful.
