I found one of these growing in my front yard yesterday, and another one today. it measures about 6 inches long, and only seems to last for a day. The first picture is of the second one(new one second day), and the other pics are of the first one...one day later.

If anyone could help me id this i would apprecieate it as i need to know if it is poisonous to my dogs, as i dont want them getting sick...thank you all for your help on this.

Here ya go! Mutinus elegans, or similar.

The mushrooms smell like rotting meat and the dogs are attracted to it. Probably not poisionous to the dogs, the most dogs usually do is roll around in them to get the smell on themselves.
