Does anyone know what this stuff is? Has orange skin and some green slime on some of it. It came up where a tree was cut from with the stump ground down. It grew in about a 10' circle. Images are attached.

Definetly some kind of stinkhorn. Not sure exactly which one but check out pictures of Mutinus caninus or Mutinus elegans. They smell like carrion when they get a little old, and because of that, dogs can be attracted to them. I have a friend who puts one in a jar on top of a moist paper towel, closes the jar and seals it tightly, and then gives it to someone in a week as a joke. The most putrid smell imaginable comes out when the jar is opened. I'm not recommending this, however ...
