This Fungus/mushroom is growing EVERYWHERE around my oak tree and I don't know what it is, or if it's harmful to my oak or other plants. The Oak is about 9 years old and has been in a pot all of it's life - i grew it from an acorn - two years ago we built a new raised bed and planted it on my wedding day. Perhaps this little thing came in with the soil? The bed was full of Forget me nots and I discovered this fungus after clearing them out this morning. I would love to know what it is, if I should worry about the soil/plants/ oak? What can I do to get rid of it if I need too? A.
yeah, that's possible, I looked up some pictures. I'll have to wait to see what happens as this one in my garden matures. Tho, the Phallus impudicus seems a lot larger that these plants. These guys are pretty small about 1 inch long. Again, that could change as they mature... Thanks!
