Wildflowers: Stinging plant on the beach, in South-East Europe, Romania

    Hello,

    I've been searching a long time in order to identify this little guy. I found it on a virgin beach in Romania, growing on maritime sand, having around 30 cm (11.8 inches) , during the month of August. Please help me! I am obsessed with this plant!

    Sea-holly Eryngium maritimum. Just spiny, it doesn't sting (no toxins).
