Anyone else in the zone 9 area have a Wollie that's still asleep? I can't peg it; I've got Coast and Dawn redwoods springing back with no prob, a ginkgo that's putting out fresh new branches over 3" long, and two dozen Araucariaceae all cranking along, and this bloody Wollie is still asleep after six months...
Maybe it misses home :) Could it be that it thinks it is in the wrong climate and is conserving it's energy. In other words it thinks it's not safe to go into a growth spurt. Just an idea Liz P.s. I assume you mean the Pine from Oz.
Well, it finally woke up! Including an overall photo of my Wollie, as well the growing point. http://i160.photobucket.com/albums/t195/DGuertin/Wollie1.jpg http://i160.photobucket.com/albums/t195/DGuertin/Wollie2.jpg
