I planted a Stewartia Sinensis in my garden a few years ago, which I absolutely love - beautiful red fall colour, nice bark, and small size. I would like to add a couple more to my garden, but I am having difficulty locating any in the nurseries around Vancouver BC. Does anyone have any suggestions on where I might be able to find this tree?
    Thanks!

If you are ever on the island, Russell Nursery in North Saanich have a wonderful selection of trees, if you call ahead I'm sure they can help you.

Parts look a bit small in your photo, wonder if you really have the true item. That produces fairly large flowers, distinctive for being scented. Now-closed Piroche Plants supplied it to local retailers for awhile (as Stewartia gemmata), otherwise material grown under the name has sometimes been actually S. x henryae, the hybrid between S. monadelpha and S. pseudocamellia.
