I just planted a stephanotis vine. My question is when should I fertilize it and how often. I will bring it inside during the winter. Also, do you think it will flower the first year?

Stephanotis do well in a warm environment with a minimum 55F in winter. Keep them in a brightly lit spot but well away from direct sunlight. Grow in soilless or soil-based potting mix and use a rooting hormone and provide bottom heat. Sow seed at 64-70 F (18-21 C) in spring. Keep the compost moist at all times but never waterlooged. Make sure you reduce watering in winter, a simple misting is all that is required. You can fertilize with miracle grow in the spring and use ozmocote occasionally.

You should get flowers in the first year as long as conditions are good.
