Most daylily seed need stratification for germination but I have read that Stella d'Oro germinates at warm 18-22C.
I started daylily seeds last year by first soaking them in a water/hydrogen peroxide solution until they sprouted, then potting them up. It worked quite well. I think the hydrogren peroxide was about 1 teaspoon to a cup but I am not sure. If you are interested try googling "daylily seed" and "hydrogen peroxide" - I remember there were several web sources of information.
