I have bought stargazer around oct here in the philippines. It has flowers already after the flower died the plant died as well. will i be able to grow stargazer here in the philippines. My house have afternoon sun and its almost summer now here... i want to buy stargazer again where will i put them??? Sunny area or shaded area...
All lily stalks die back after flowering. The bulb should still be there where you planted it. However lily bulbs need vernalization (a cold period) before they will flower again. If the bulb is still there, you could dig it up, wash off the soil and put it in a bag of moist peat moss in your fridge for 6 to 8 weeks. Considering how hot it is in the Philippines, I think the best place to grow them would be where they would get morning sun and afternoon shade.
