    hello everyone!

My husband and I have recently transplanted a black spruce from the wild into our yard. This was probably only three weeks ago. Now the branches have drooped further down and the tips of the branches, its needles have turned yellowish/brown. Have we killed the tree or is it just in shock??
Its a fairly young tree (6ft) I haven't used any fertilizer in the soil at all since we've transplanted it..is there anything I can do to help it recover to its once beautiful state?

Doesn't sound good - not too surprisingly, as it's a very bad time of year to move a tree. Best you can do is spray it with water frequently to keep the foliage cool and moist. Don't add fertiliser.
