I couldn't wait any longer I had the need to start grafting this year. I took dormant scions in Feb and put them in the fridge. I then waited till the last week of April to graft. I grafted 5 and it looks like 4/5 took.
I did a side vaneer and put bags over the whole tree. Then I put them in a mini greenhouse with a shade clothe.
I didn't water till this week. Just to keep the soil moist. Yesterday I took the bags off. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Nice one Pat!...I've never delayed the grafting in Feb 'til later as you have.My only concern is,unike summer grafting, the dormant scions will leaf out immediately and will need very Hi humidity.I've only used bags,no greenhouse so if you think the greenhouse is humid enough,ok,but keep an eye on them and if they wilt/shrivel,put the bage back on.
