Your Beni shichihenge looks amazing. Mine is significantly greener this year than last and much more green than yours appears this year. However, mine is in front of a wooden fence and the neighbor's wooden house. Last year I had a mid sized Laurel partially between it and the fence so maybe this year's lack of va-va-voom is partially due to removing the Laurel to make room for the evergreens I like better. I'm hoping that once the green and blue-green evergreens I've planted get as big as the JM that the variegation will be more noticeable. I really love how many large trees you have. Looks great.
It was listed as disesctum varigatum. I thought it was a seperate plant. It looks very close to toyoma. Krautz
