I am a writer and am trying to describe a group of spring bulbs that would all be blooming at approximately the same time, in a wooded area. I know some are early, or mid, or late spring blooming. Hoping to find 3-5 that all bloom in either March or April, in Vancouver. Many thanks for any help! I don't want to go and describe a wood where the bulbs are not likely to be blooming at the same time! Writer
I have several varieties of erythronium and trillium blooming in my shade garden right now. I also have a few scilla in bloom (not many because I've been working hard to eliminate them over the years). To my knowledge, the only one that would be growing naturally in a forest around here would be the coast trillium.
